Reddit/ Google conspiracy?

There was a thread on here about how Reddit is trying to ipo and paid Google under the table to rank them better. This would drive traffic Reddit and raise their share price for the ipo.

Does anyone have a link to that thread or know what I’m talking about

I’d be surprised tbh

Google search sucks ass nowadays, search for almost anything and you just get AI generated spam articles on the first page

Can't trust ratings anymore. It was good while it lasted.

I think it was Yelp that was promoting and giving better ratings to black and lgbtq owned businesses.

Probably. Most likely Reddit is allowing google to use their data to train AI in exchange for a better ranking.

What about the MexwellHill supermod that was supposed to be run by Ghislaine Maxwell (maiden name Hill)? That user was like top 10 all time in karma and mysteriously never logged in again the day she was arrested. The account was notorious for posting propaganda on all the big subs silencing any right leaning viewpoints. The other mods apparently talked with the owner of the account and assured everyone it wasn’t her and that’s the final story, no questions allowed.
