The steam engine era was so impressive Vs modern engines
Was watching a vid on Titanics engines and its mind blowing how they built this chit. Each engine was 750 tons, bolted to bed plates weighing 200 tons, generating 46,000 horsepower in total. Seems almost impossible how they could make such massive components to precision tbh. I bet there were so many deaths/injuries in the factories



Modern engines are cool and all and way more efficient but these giant constructions are something else
