New clothes/updating wardrobe

When is it time to get some new clothes? How often should they be tossed and replaced with new ones?

Most my stuff lasts a few years. But had a few mossimo v necks from before target became trans and they were legit like 11 years old with no holes or anything and I wore them all the time. Still use them as housework shirts now. Think they were like 6 bucks or something back then.

Depends on how worn they get.

Jeans usually last me a couple years. T-shirts I replace once or twice a year.

Suits (for job interviews and weddings) I replace probably every 4 years.
