Why do you think this is brahs? Anyone else similar?

It's just randomized by a computer. Knew a guy who did his first jury duty when he was 53. I got called into it like 3 yrs ago, but didn't get selected. Thank god, because it was still when they required everyone to wear masks to enter the building, and keep it on at all times.

In March they sent the letter saying show up April 3rd at 8:15 but fill out the questionnaire first.
Sent it in and called the day before and was told with a high number, 308 and few cases, the probability that i will not have to show up is high.
The next morning the court audio recording said 200 and above can skip showing up.

I think I was 29 or 30 before I ever even had to show up, and lucky me, I got picked and had to sit through a 5 day trial about some scumbag who was screwing his own 8 year old daughter for a while when his baby mama went to sleep.

Come to find out, he had spend most of her life in prison for doing the same **** up with another minor. Got out, moved in with baby mama, rinse and repeat.

Having to hear the testimonies from everyone and all that **** was disgusting. Hope he rots forever, srs.

Jury service is a way for U.S. citizens to participate in the judicial process. Each court randomly selects qualified citizens from counties within the district for possible jury service. All courts use the respective state voter lists as a source of prospective jurors.
