In terms of voters? Yes, I would certainly agree. In terms of candidates who hold office? Not so much. I personally believe both parties are different sides of the same coin. Promising lies to their base when their true aim is to appease the powers that be.

Maybe things were different 50 or 100 yrs ago, but votes don’t count for chit anymore. They’ll do anything they want anytime they want. There is only one way to cut the government..everyone needs to stop paying taxes. Problem is, not enough will do it & the few that do will go to jail.

The argument against the two party system has been around for years. Only recently has it become common parlance, particularly amongst disenfranchised Biden voters, now that the effects of democrat policies can no longer be ignored. It is a new form of whataboutism cope rather than admit Trump might not have actually been that bad.

Rather than admit the policies have been chit, it has turned into a 'well your side is just as bad and we both suck together' save face mentality. I say this as someone who has been against the uniparty since the Ron Paul days and who thinks alot of the people saying this actually are using this rhetorical tactic now that we are in an election year.
