How much of a quality decrease have you noticed in your own friends within the last 3

years?

For me I divide my friends between 2 groups: childhood ones that never went anywhere but were still fun enough to hang around, and friends I met through life who are smarter and established.

That first group is a dumpster fire right now, dunno what happened. A mishmash of serious insecurity, delusions of grandeur, deepening awful values, to the point they avoid me.

The second group is doing the family and high stress career thing but still has time for me.
