Help Me Find this Kids Sci-Fi Cartoon from back in the 90's

Main character was a kid (I think).
He somehow got onto the crew of a spaceship.
He tried on a spacesuit he found on the ship. This ended up enraging another crew member (some big ape character) because it belonged to the ape characters dead friend.
For some reason I remember this big ape character having a catch phrase that went something like this: "AA-DOOO-GAH!"
