anyone watch godzilla minus one

ngl the movie was 5/10 at best (most monster movies suck). what the fuk was the the hype around this film.

I was reading comments before the movie how the nuke beam Godzilla does was better than the nuke scene in Oppenheimer lol. i was like fuark this is gonna be sick

Do japanophiles / weebs run the internet now or something. Why does anything Asian related get so much unearned praise ?

This might be the stupidest post i have ever seen. That film was a masterpiece. Nominated for 129 awards, won 64 of them. 98/98% on Rotten Tomatoes.

A very well written story with no woke aspects (japanese). It is a cinematic masterpiece.

Still have it on my to-watch list but I heard it got good reviews because of the thoughtful anti-war theme.

Just saw it last night, can't believe it's already on Netflix. I was assuming this movie was a prequel but found out it had nothing to do with the previous 3 Godzilla movies.
