Boxing is so fkin boring (srs)

Outside of the big money fights involving the small handful of famous boxers anyone gives a damn about, the mid and lower card tier fights are so hard to sit through. Nothing interesting happens. MMA leagues above this pillow padded gloves chit, even the face offs and pressers are boring and lame because it's always filled with wrinkly old boomers purely being kept alive by adrenochrome giving their 2 cents even if no on asked.

i agree. boxing is unwatchable. boxing is so one dimensional vs. MMA. i want a chess match with multiple styles and disciplines competing and multiple ways to win. not a sparring session where the best don't even fight the best. boring. unwatchable. and no Tyson Fury you are not the baddest man on the planet. that's Jon Jones.

kudos to the Fertitta Brothers and Dana White for bringing MMA to the masses!

I feel the exact opposite. MMA bores me because of the clinching/wrestling aspect and low skill striking. I still watch the big UFC cards, but for me the sweet science is far more entertaining. Boxing is an elite skillset.

I 100% agree.

Love the big fights. Canelo/GGG trilogy was fun. Fury/Wilder trilogy was fun.

All the undercard chit is boring af.


UFC chits allover boxing in 2024. Its not even comparable the level of entertainment.

this. the clinching in boxing is so cot damn annoying and boring to watch. mma doesn't really have clinching, there's some type of continuation that either goes into grappling or disengagement. when was the last time a ref reset mma guys that were clinching each other.

Professional boxers use 8-10oz gloves and the larger glove size is strictly for hand protection it’s not softer. If anything boxing gloves hit harder because of how the force is dispersed. Get a brain, moran.
