Someone I know well is going forward with a rape accusation that's destined to fail. She got hammered drunk and went off with a security guard when his shift was over at 2am. She didn't remember being penetrated and the rape kit she had done came back with no evidence of such. My wife went with her to the ER so I know a lot of details. She's moved forward with the allegation because she remembers pulling her pants up in his car. He told police he made out with and went down on her, which everything points toward being true. No signs of force or coercion. At first she said he kidnapped her for 12 hours and deactivated her phone, neither were remotely true. She went off with him and he dropped her off at her car 2 hours later. She couldn't use her phone because she was drunk AF. She said she didn't know him before she went off with him, but she had text messages and phone calls from him on her phone from before 2am.

I'm not joking when I say the fact that he's old and ugly are probably a big reason she went forward with the allegation. If he was good looking and her age I seriously doubt she would have moved forward with it. I hope she drops it or prosecution decides to not move forward for lack of evidence since there is none. She also changed details she said at the ER to what she told police. She was at our place the following day and kept saying out loud "am I making this up in my head?" Uh yeah, I've seen her blackout drunk plenty of times, and to be honest I could've smashed a few of those times but I don't cheat on my wife. Dude lost his job immediately.

It's true what they say, these kinds of cases tarnish the credibility of all allegations, plenty of which are true.

At the very least 10 years. But the legal system is ALWAYS easier on women. Even when they commit the same crimes as men they get a slap on the wrist. BRB the same judge gives a man 4 years in prison for a crime, a woman the next day gets off with time served after 2 months in the county jail for the same crime. I've got no hate toward women, just the purple haired ones who pretend men's lives are by default easier than women.

The law has been slow to address this issue, even though we see it happening pretty often these days. Makes me wonder how many people had their lives ruined before there was technology available to exonerate them.

The guy spent 31 days in jail. I don't understand why it took that long for the police to figure out she was full of dookie.
