How long until sex with the missus, or mr for the majority of you, became boring af?

For background, I was a manwhore until I settled down at 35 with a mid triple digit bodycount. So I was used to smashing multiple different women a week. I have an awesome wife, she cooks and cleans on demand and I enjoyed smashing her for the first year but now adays I’d rather just jerk it and tell her I have a headache so I can get some sleep.
