It's obvious why the first presidential debate is so early this year

The left is looking at the polls and they're nervous so they're giving Biden a chance to turn it around and if he doesn't they'll get him to step down before the convention and replace him with someone (probably Harris or Newsom). Which would be a bad look btw because it's supposed the American voters that choose a candidate, not the people at the DNC.
