How long does it take to learn to drive a manual?

I personally love holding and jerking a stick around (nohomo), but don't know how to in a manual car. Any tips? People say to go to an empty parking lot and practice for a few hours

It doesn't take long to get around, a guy could learn in a day with someone experienced coaching him.

It'll take a couple months for it to be second nature though.

Just get a feel for the clutch release, remember, the more gas you give, the less clutch you need, it's a give and take. As your clutch foot comes off, the more gas you give..but do itslowly
