Are New York bagels better?
I've heard people say "if you want a GOOD bagel, go to New York!"
But how is it better than bagels you can get most anywhere else? Aren't bagels just fcking bagels? How could it be better? Is there some magical recipe for a better bagel that only scumbags from New York know about? Or is it just the city stroking themselves off again saying they do something better than the rest of the world? Like they try with their floppy poverty pizzas?
