Just about to start watching Band Of Brothers AMA

Never seen it before and I wanted a realistic depiction of WW2, D-Day etc and this show always makes the top 10 list so I'm expecting big things. Anyone seen it? Is it brootal and savage? I wanna see Nazi limbs blown off etc
