How do women feel /think?

Every woman believes their guy is the best..and I understand that

But how would women react on an instinctual basis when their guy gets very obviously
Outdone by another guy?

For example a woman and her boyfriend are working out at the gym...and her bf is benching...but right next to her is a dude that is lifting double the weight of the dude she thinks is the greatest in the world?

Or if her boyfriend is beaten up in a fight..lol...does she just automatically listen to the excuses her guy makes and share in his delusion?
