I generally dislike tattoos because most people who walk around with them nowadays are NPCs with low quality work, Post Malone type school desk scribbles, the same chit everyone else gets. No thought or creativity put into them.

But I’m not anti-ink like most miscers. When I was a kid, the people I knew with tattoos were the best people to be around. They had an edge to them. They were interesting characters like 1% bikers, guys in metal bands or badass military vets. My dad’s friends were these types of people and I knew them well.

I actually have one piece on my arm that you can barely see when I wear short sleeve shirts, 90% of people who I cross paths with would never know it’s there. It means something to me because of my father.

Sometimes I think of getting more, I’ve been sitting on ideas for a back piece and another half-sleeve on my other arm for years. Would obviously only go to an artist who is at the pinnacle of his craft and wouldn’t show up to work with exposed skin.

Would you look down upon me if I do?

Tattoos are acceptable in modern society.


One of the top sales person at my company is a sexy Romanian lady with a small tattoo on her neck that's clearly visible.


My company is in a very conservative industry, and yet her neck tattoo didn't stop her from rising through the ranks. But I suppose it also helps that she's a sexy Euro woman with wide hips, big booty, big titties and a thin waist.

Not sure if a man can get away with a neck tattoo in the corporate world.

Sucks that all tattoos green up over time.
