The contract is currently for a year, the shift will be 6am-6pm Thursday & Friday. It is also a 1099 job which means that they won't be taking out taxes?
Thinking of taking it since my current casual job is in the service industry and ATM & in the near future tourism here on Maui is going to be dead. It will pretty much be guarding the checkpoints around the fire zone
$480x4(bi weekly pay)= $1920. Assuming I'd have to take maybe $500 for taxes I'm looking at making $1420 every two weeks for 4 days of work.
Should I do it? It does sound boring as fk.
