I am a 27 year old cis hetero male assigned at birth. I take my health very seriously - I workout at home everyday, fully vaccinated with 5x boosters, wear a mask everywhere (even alone in the car).

My wife is transgender and she is a beautiful 24 year old woman. She is not health conscious like me. She eats fast food often and does not exercise; despite this, she still maintains a slim, semi-athletic figure.

We have been trying for 16 months to get pregnant to no avail. I have been talking to my urologist and he is recommending me to take tests and samples, and possibly starting Testosterone therapy. Though in my last checkup, I had normal T levels.

So I'm asking misc community - did you and your spouse have significant problems getting pregnant for the first time? Do you have any advice or health tips to share? I am looking for advice and just wanting to vent. I feel like I have ultimately failed my wife and I pray she doesn't eventually leave me over this and find another man who can get her pregnant.
