AURORA, Colo. (TND) — Three people posing as delivery drivers robbed a Colorado family earlier this month, according to police.

Footage purportedly from Angelo Rodriguez’s Ring doorbell camera shows the armed men forcing their way into his Aurora, Colorado home earlier this month after pretending to be delivery drivers with a package.

Wearing construction vests, they rung the doorbell and waited for somebody to open the door. Once David Hernandez, the family’s caretaker, did, the men entered and stole cash and other things, according to local outlet Denver7. Rodriguez’s 6-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter were reportedly home.

"When [David] opened the door, they immediately pushed him and grabbed him by the neck," Rodriguez told the outlet in Spanish. “They grabbed my daughter and started choking her."

The children purportedly went to the hospital for minor injuries.

Hernandez said he ran out the back door and to a neighbor’s house for help, according to Denver7.

"There was no need to hurt the kids," he said.

Police believed the men targeted the family due to a business that was run out of the home, the outlet added.

Rodriguez reportedly noted he wasn’t concerned when he saw people saying to his Ring camera they were trying to deliver a package since he bought a video game for his son.

The incident took place as the has city dealt with other impersonation issues. Two days after the robbery, police announced individuals were posing as police officers and pulling over drivers.

On Tuesday, the agency said a banking scam where people transfer funds into thieves’ accounts has grown substantially.

The scammers trick victims by posing as banks and moving cash from people's accounts into ones controlled by the thieves, according to police. The victims purportedly think they are setting up a new account after hearing that their existing ones experienced fraud activity.

“Scammers have the ability to disguise phone calls from nearly anywhere- a bank, a business and even government offices,” the agency posted on social media. “Stay vigilant! If it sounds suspicious, it just might be!”

Of course if these "victims" voted Biden....I hope it hurt really really bad.
