If pharma companies are in economic danger, you think they'll help release

If, someday, some pharma companies are in economic danger, or you have ambitious exec, you think they'll orchestrate to release a new virus strain, so that they can get back on the juicy teat of the taxpayer?


just asking if anyone thinks that scenario is probable.

Absolutely. Big pharma really is a giant cartel. All of those multi-billion dollar lawsuits they've had over the past few decades don't even put a dent in their wallets. They're in the business of making money, if they cured health problems instead of stabilizing or "treating" them, they'd be out of business.

If something miraculous happened where their money dried up, they'd unleash a firestorm
