I'm shopping for a Miami Cuban bracelet, what MM should I get?

Also, what material? I'm wearing a stainless steel watch on the left wrist, bracelet goes on right. I was at a jewelry store earlier and tried a sterling silver one which was a much more matte color than the watch and didn't seem to match too well even though both are metallic.
