My boss said I need to start taking an active role in meetings
We had a Teams meeting this morning and I pretty much just sat there srs. I said good morning and that’s it, let everyone else do the talking. The topic was a bullchit project I’m involved with but have little knowledge about.
Truthfully in any meeting I’m usually the one who sits there quietly and takes in information rather than spouting off at the mouth like a fkin yenta.
Well my boss pulled me aside and basically told me I need to start talking during meetings going forward srs. Some delicate corporate line about how I have valuable experience to offer and engagement would contribute to my growth with the company. Blah blah blah.
I just feigned agreement when in my head I’m just like “how the fuk did I become such a cuck? What went wrong in my life that this is my life?”
I just wanna go home brahs.
Feels bad man

It's the midpoint of the last day of the wagie work week. So there's that. Are you excited? What's your plans for the weekend? Are you dreading that feeling you'll have on Sunday at 6pm???
