A fat, balding patient thought he got the best of me today
I'm a doctor and one of my patients arrived late the other day. He was a mid 40s Norwood 5, and records show a BMI of 39.
I politely informed him that although he can't be seen today, I might can possibly see him next week. He made a smart remark about the redundancy of my words, with a chit-eating grin on his face. And I mean chit-eating literally...what was left of his teeth were dark brown.
I was tempted to charge him a $50 fee for missing his appointment but the car he was driving looked like a late 90s Geo Prizm with a crumpled front fender, so out of pity I decided to waive the fee. Poor bastard
