Long but insightful, and interesting.
Most doctors in his position would just stick at it for the cash, which was why they got into it.
I won't give away too much but he comes to realize why some patients get well and some don't - in his opinion - and doesn't feel that the system is geared towards helping patients.
Seems like a rash decision imo. Mid life crisis yes.
