Jobs you think would seriously blow

Try to keep it realistic, not just super rare jobs that would suck so bad they'd land a spot on a reality TV show episode.



Working the floor of a busy upscale gas station - imagine working one of those upscale borderline minimart gas stations with 20+ gas pumps (with another 10 diesel trucker fill ups and trucker rest stop area in the back) that is non-stop busy. Stocking shelfs, cashier, switching back, helping the kitchen, with no breaks. Seems like it's be stressful af for probably south of $20/hr and probs crappy benenfits if any

Aircraft/train mechanic - it's just like light vehicle maintenance except you're outside the whole time with no A/C or heat, have to lug your tools around instead of the vehicles coming to you, many cities don't have jobs for you, and any mistake you make will come out in a massive investigation leaving you jobless for the rest of your life, also you're drug tested.

Though I think a lot of those jobs are unionized so that's a positive.

Video game developer. You likely chose the field because you had a passion for gaming, then you finally get a dream job at a company like Ubisoft or Blizzard. You have all these creative ideas but everyone in charge shuts you down, management requires you to develop character models for DEI, you suck it up and do it, finally you're done and want to do something creative fun and useful but they just throw you into bug testing or UI design work instead. Maybe you get half way done designing a map you put your creative skills and heart into, but then last minute upper management pushes that the game must launch on the Holidays and has you scrap the entire side project you were on. Management then requires you to stay late every day, without overtime pay, for deadline purposes. Oh btw the game didn't sell well so they start doing mass layoffs. You try to find another job but you're a white male so no company wants you.
