Audio nerds - Why does some speakers require all 4 post wire instead of two?
Got these old pair of floor standing, full range speakers which sound awesome.
But the flat copper "bridge" went bad on both - and come to find out, there's no fuarking way these work without all 4 posts being engaged.
They aren't even bannana-clip compatible posts either so ive gotta take this long strand of bare speaker wire and needle it through both posts?!
(we're talking roughly 4 who inches of bare speaker wire to do this)
Is this insanity normal???
