There were some things that were much better, it's true.

However, two of the things on your list are ridiculous. The streets weren't safe at all during the '80s. The '80s are before crime rates started dropping. This was the days of the urban racial jungle Biden warned us about.
Secondly, women were massive whores back then. Women have been sluts since the '60s. Maybe it took a while for full-on whore mode to take over over society after the sexual revolution but by 1986 it was definitely accomplished.

Ronald Reagan, the president who passed no fault divorce bill and Deinstitutionalized mental hospitals.

Do you know how bad the divorce rate is or how bad homeless population is?

The vast majority of homeless people belong in mental institutions they do not belong or function in normal society. Thank Reagan for that

Nah, if you were a TEEN in 1999. You know can't argue.

1999 was PEAK human creativity with the best entertainment in all genres.

And you were old enough to not be BRAIN ROTTED by social media since you could read and iPad babysitter before you were crawling. We got PEAK INTERNET days too

The 2000 got stupid with the y2k 'bug', then 911 in 2001 and been downhill since.

Women haven't had single digit body counts since pre sexual revolution/birth control.

99% of women haven't deserved to wear white on their wedding day since the 50s

Yes.

Anyone who says the 90's clearly missed the 80's. The 80's was a renaissance of awesome. There's a reason why 80's nostalgia has been going strong for like 35 years now.
The 90's was damn depressing. The early 2000's was better than the 90's. The 70's was even better.
Movies were still pretty good in the 90's though, I'll give it that. Some 80s remnants like arcades were still doing their thing. Otherwise, the 90s is when all that gay crap started to be accepted. When being politically correct started sneaking its way into main stream. When every kid deserved a trophy. Music became depressing grunge, and cRap became accepted when in the 80's it was seen as a fad like disco. The girls in the 90's dressed like lumberjacks.

Things picked up in the very late 90s with an attempt to get back to the 80's party groove. The early 2000's were pretty cool too. Even after 9/11. Everyone was unified after 9/11. Then George W Bush went on his world police power grab and pretty much ruined the world since. Now everything is damned politics and side picking.

The only reason anyone would look back fondly on the 90's is because you were 10 years old. The world no matter what is best when you are 10.

Came to say this. Also, by 1986, not everyone admired Reagan (that was more like 83-84). Dementia/Alzheimers was starting to become more obvious (not even close to Biden, but it was clear with Reagan in his last couple years, too), and the Dems took control of the Senate and widened their lead in the House.

Single digit means 9 or less.

To be realistic, it was probably the norm for women until the 2000s. Depends on where as well. Sure you have always had mega sloots. I think double digits becoming the norm for the average girl is probably within the last 25 years.
In the 80's girls were still very much slut shamed. People got married earlier then too.

Except that was still good because those Dems are nothing like you lunatics today. They still cared about the border, crime and not funding proxy wars. Clinton '92 = Trump '16
