Lots of people in that situation with rising costs and a bubbling housing market. People are having to work a second or third job to cover their expenses.

Decades ago when I was in high school had many fiends working fast food...not a single person over 20, minus the manager and maybe an old man janitor worked there, now when I do go, most are older adults working there. Its sad actually.

A fast food kitchen? They'll be the first to be automated. Burger machines already exist, and dropping premade fries in hot oil and fishing them out again is tailor made for automation.

Disagree man. I mean maybe in distant future. But a $15/hour individual is way more valuable than an expensive machine dedicated to a single task. And we're just talking about fast food. What could you possibly automate in a real kitchen that isn't already automated?
