I think it's not even that great of an improvement that the companies implement from year to year.

Why build any better its the software that needs improvement

Thing is its like car manufacturers they purposely change designs because the rest of the world has already cloned most parts

Its a chit tier philosophy srs makes the world move at a snails pace

Surely the powers that be can start opening over the ICEwall or space so we can actually do something fun in this realm before us povertycells die

Its hard to say, man. First, there's the law of diminishing returns. But with cell phones, there's so much money involved that there's no why you can tell the investors that its a tech that isn't worth improving, even slightly each year. Second, because its' IT, people just believe its a limitless field.

With cars, its more about the interior and exterior. The tech is pretty much set and done for. People like seeing new models and styles. It's moved away from being transportation machine to art on wheels. With art, its limitless. Every year a new artist gets commissioned to design the latest models. It becomes a thing where people prefer the art style of a model year.

My theory is that since 2014, the technology hasn't even improved that much.

Compare 1994 to 2004 to 2014 to 2024 and you'll know what I mean.
