Tremendous news, comrades — your electric vehicle ration has been raised from one upcoming Buick model to zero. The Wall Street Journal reported late Tuesday that the Detroit automaker has delayed plans for a new Buick EV and also for a new electric truck factory. Actually, this is the second delay in opening the EV Chevy Silverado line at the company's Orion Assembly plant.

EVs were destined to level off for awhile. The signs were there last year, and they've received a ton of bad press this year. A large proportion of them are secondary vehicles, with people keeping their ICE vehicles just in case.

everyone who wanted one has already bought one.

Sounds like you're talking about last year. Tesla is the only car maker that sells the same models globally. Toyota/GM, etc sell slightly tweaked models with different names on different continents. Toyota sells more Corollas but they don't call it a Corolla globally.

everything has gone up in price.
a new car isn't feasible for a lot of people and there are very few used EV cars as affordable as a marketplace Hyundai.

Correction:

Nobody is buying VEHICLES, period.

Gasoline or Electric.

Nobody has the fukking money for a vehicle right now. Vehicles are about 30% overpriced and people are about 40% underpaid.

People arent dealing with this chit anymore.

This. I drive by a Tesla dealership every day. The parking lot is completely packed with inventory. They started parking cyber trucks on the vacant lot next door, but that's packed now as well.

The word globally usually means around the entire planet, not the US

Tesla was the best selling car globally in 2023, followed by a Toyota Rav-4
