You do realize guys fraud something hard about their height on Bumble and other dating sites... right? So as a response to that you very may well be seeing women set filters higher.

For instance, if you're matching with guys who say they are 5'10'' when they are really 5'6'' when you go to date them wouldn't you bump your filters up to 6'2'' (which is the equivalent of 5'10'' in the dating world)?

I actually don't blame these filters and in many ways I don't think they are really representative of what they date. They're just trying to weed out the liars by setting higher filters. 5'6'' guys are claiming 5'10'' and 5'10'' guys are claiming 6'2''. So if you're good with 5'10'', you should set your filters to 6'2''. It's common sense. This is just an example. I don't know the exact number of inches most guys try to tack on. Point is girls will adjust their filters higher than normal to combat this sh*t.
