Kamala Harris Has Her Finger On The Pulse & Has A Very High IQ
I've been really digging PissantSoldier's super high IQ takes of progressivism and historical contextual debates on the word native. Plus he's Greek.
I mean just look at this quote by Kamala below. Poetic. Insightful.
"I can imagine what will be, unburdened by what was." — Kamala Harris
This appears to be an original statement by Kamala Harris. I would never expect to hear a Trump or a Marjorie Taylor Greene or Ted Cruz say something so poetic and profound.
I take Kamala to be saying that we don’t have to be prey to the past, if only we put it behind us and move forward.
For instance, just because our ancestors were racist, sexist and homophobic, doesn’t mean that we have to be. Just because people in the past thought the earth was flat doesn’t mean we can’t accept the fact that the earth is a globe whizzing through space.
I don’t think the statement is vague in meaning and it does have significance.
Unfortunately, for millions of Americans this statement is difficult or impossible to realize.
Millions of Americans remained burdened by what they “know” that isn’t true. White supremacists continue to believe their white genes are “superior” to other genes. People who consider the Bible to be the “word of God” continue to consider homosexuality a “sin” even though the Bible commands and/or condones the worst crimes known to mankind: slavery, sex slavery, infanticide, matricide, ethnic cleansing, genocide, and the ghastly stoning to death of boys for being stubborn and of girls for being raped or not bleeding sufficiently on their wedding nights to prove their virginity.
How can anyone hope to find wisdom in a book full of evil commandments, wild errors and blatant contradictions? Perhaps by “rightly dividing” the texts, as the evangelist Paul recommended to his protege Timothy, rather than swallowing the Bible wholesale.
Oddly, conservative Christians choose to focus on the Bible’s worst verses and ignore the best. And thus as a nation we remained burdened by a dark, unthinking, intolerant past.

How many ULTRA conservative Christians do you think there really are? Probably around the same number as ULTRA lefties so it all evens out.
And just use the Bible as a loose framework. Pretty much just don't be a piece of ****. Life is really that simple.
