She starts by saying we aren't using paper for documents anymore (the 80s called), and then says they're on the laptop - well no they aren't because that's local storage not cloud - then equates local storage to remote cloud storage 'which is not a physical place'. I dunno what data centers are then.

my mom thinks when they mention the cloud and her files being in the cloud it means its on some satellite in the sky

The cloud is in the clouds brah. Otherwise it would be false advertising.

Cloud data is unburdened by what physical storage was.
