New avengers movie confirmed. Thoughts?

Marvel Studios announced that Robert Downey Jr. and directors the Russo brothers will return for its next big crossover movie, "Avengers: Doomsday," in what appeared to be an attempt to use nostalgia to win back fans.
For months, fans have been worried about what will happen to the next "Avengers" movie after Marvel Studios faced a series of problems.
Destin Daniel Cretton, the original director of "Avengers 5," dropped out in November 2023. Weeks later, Jonathan Majors, who was set to play the next major villain, Kang, was fired by Marvel after he was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
This came against a backdrop of audiences losing interest in Marvel TV shows and movies, leading to the company's last release in 2023, "The Marvels," losing $237 million at the box office, according to Deadline's estimates.

They are pivoting away from Kang, which is what they needed to do. The Secret Wars stuff looks like it could be epic - if they pull it off. Doom getting introduced was inevitable, but having RDJ as him is a bit of a letdown even though it's a proper arc from the comics.

My two all time favorite comic characters are finally coming to the big screen
Silver surfer and doom
… Surfer is gunna be a girl
… Doom is iron man
Seriously so bummed. Yeah we all love rdj but this is such a desperation move it is so painfully obvious. I really don't care for him as Dr doom and all I'm going to picture is tony stark.
The surfer thing just sucks, that's my all time favorite character and he's getting gender swapped. Sigh.

Most of them have been **** since End Game. This is obviously a desperation move, but the reality is they clearly don't know what the **** they are doing, so it's better we get a few more good movies with the old cast and it dies, over trusting these morons to come up with a long term plan.

As gey as grown men getting excited for super heroes is, at least spider man, batman, venom, all have good acting and make you care about what is going to happen. Even Gotham has so many characters and is still an excellent tv series with amazing acting. The woke joo chit is at a minimum.
Avengers is just waiting for the next explosion or laser, and waiting to see who the next victim of emotional oppression is.

Gotham was a great show. Penguin and Riddler were incels, so of course they were gey. Realistic srs.
Main characters were alpha, gordon and the detective were amazing actors.
