On this week 43 years ago President Ronald Reagan fired 11,345 ATC employees

and banned them from federal employment for life.

To this day, ATC at Ronald Reagan International Airport do not respond to "Reagan Tower". They use the callsign "Washington Tower".

They went on strike for what, higher pay?
