What's the GOAT Tony Hawk game?

Beat THPS1+2 100% last year and it was the first time I complete a Tony Hawk game, always sucked at them growing up.

90% done THPS3 on PS2 and about 40% done THPS4. Been fun revisiting these games. Even THUG2 and AW are super fun. I skipped THUG1 due to no Classic Mode.

I think proving Ground is underrated too. Project 8 sucks, but during the Xbox 360 times I played the hell out of it

I don't use cheats, but I want to use the character unlock cheats on THPS3+4

This THUG1 and it's not even close. Best gameplay, physics, most innovative and the GOAT soundtrack. I first heard so many artists playing that game that I would later become a fan of without even knowing it.

THPS3 would be a distant second.

I will say I spent the most hours playing THUG2 though. All the cheat codes, weird maps (Bermuda Triangle, Hell, etc.) and characters kept me hooked as a kid.

I only had THPS4 on PS1 growing up, so playing the PS2 feels like a semi new experience. Watched gameplay of it on PS1 today on the tube and damn it looked brooootal

I feel the same tho, it's started to grow on me

I'd say THPS3. The first two were amazing for their time, but THPS3 is the one that I think stands out as the all time GOAT. THPS4 not far behind. After they went into the Underground games which were a lot more Jackass inspired.

Yeah for a lot of us that grew up on THPS, Underground was disappointing. I can understand people liking THUG tho if it was their first Tony Hawk game
