if you are 30. Remember when you were in high school
Remember how it was just yesterday you were 14 years old in high school
That was 16 years ago
How fast the time went by from being 14-30
That is exactly how quick it's going to be going from 30-50
Next thing you know, instead of being a 30 year old you are fking pushing 50
you go from being 14 years old to 50 years old in a blink of an eye

It doesn't seem like yesterday to me. Seems like a lifetime ago.

I never noticed the time speeding up until 2021 or so… that feels like ages ago tbh. I will be 30 next year…

At work today we were talking about this and how fukked up gen z is because of phones/social media. I'm 33 and high school feels like it was like 8 years ago. I didn't get a phone until I was a freshman in high school. could only call and only had 50 text messages.

Mind blown…..
I went to a ghetto high school
I remember my first day of high school in gym class. It was one of those days where the gym teacher just calls roll and sit around making friends then go to the next class to do the same shiet.
The mexican dude next to me asked "aye chino, how many bitches u gonna get pregnant this year?"
And I timidly said "n..nn…nnnone….."
Seems like yesterday

29 checking in. Even college feels like a long time ago. Multiple LTRs, multiple jobs, the illnesses, wisdom teeth removal. It doesn't feel like yesterday lol. But yeah time is fleeting, acknowledging it is fine, but dwelling on it is pointless. Live every day to the fullest regardless.
At a short term level, there's things you can avoid doing to prevent time from skipping so much. IE alcohol fast forwards time, especially if you blackout, for example. Weed seems to make time feel slower moving on the other hand.

45 here and 1997 feels like 5 years ago…
from 30-40 goes by 5x as quickly as 10-20…
40-50 feels like a few months.
50-75 will likely feel like a couple weeks.
Holy Fook.

Goes fast. My 30s seem to be flying by. And much of the time since HS was spent doing stuff I don’t even like. But that’s life I guess

Yeah, I'm almost 34.
When you have the same daily routine of 8 to 5, that's what happens.
