800 engine hours in 16-17 years. That's low for California. the 35k price tag might make sense. I dunno, I don't know much about boats.

It's a pretty muther, no doubt.

Although, from what I've read in similar posts over the years they are very high maintenance.
A wallet vampire.
They also said be sure to enjoy it frequently to justify all main. costs, insurance, etc.

I"m sure you knew all that but I have read more than once about buyers remorse in this boat context.

Keep us informed should you make it happen.
Especially, if it proves to be your chick magnet.

Super low hours for CA. I haven't seen this boat for less than $40k before. Seems like a good deal.

My boat seats 6, the Malibu 247 seats 16+

it's 100% the boat I want. All I do is wake surf and displacement is king.

Sounds like a good fit for your needs. I'm sure you already know, but test the floor for soft spots and make sure it's running well. If it has a ballast system, probably good to fill that up as well and make sure it works and isn't leaking

Boat was sold. I should have expected it, being that they were asking $10k less than everyone else who thinks their used goods are worth their weight in gold.

Back in 2018, these boats were selling for $30K.

Okay have my eyes on another boat.

2005 Malibu 23 LSV. He's put $20k into refurbishing it. He wants $40K for it.

These were $58k new, which is equivalent to $95K today.

I tried to see if he would go down to $35k. He said he'd rather put in is storage for $200/month and wait until spring, but he will go down to $39k

I cant find a similar boat this nice for less than $45k. I know it's not a 25' like OP, but everyone wants $50K plus for those

Thoughts?

It's like they think we all gonna invite Low T bitches out on there. Fukers better put an HTC rating on mine. Normal Rating 10 ppl or 1000lbs. HTC rating = 2 (you and a fat bitch)

If you are taking out women over 120lbs you are doing it wrong lol. Ain't no one want to see a 180 sloth in a bathing suit.

But yeah, I think for this boat it's a 150lb average, but it can handle 2-3x that. 16 full grown men are not a problem in this thing.

I have 3500# of ballast on order, and it has 1400 built in, plus a power wedge that is equivalent to 1200# of ballast when deployed.

Will take pics of surf wave when I get it all installed and out on the lake.
