One of the best videos I've seen in a while. Great visualization too.

Seriously that is some genius level engineering. I never knew that is how they created Venice, let alone dealt with fresh water and waste problems. These are things I don't even think about since we just have waste management systems our whole lives.

That rain water well idea with the sand as gradient to filter the water before going into the well is insane. I seriously lol at how retarded we are as a population compared to the past.

Yea they did some really innovated ideas back then...I started to dig into it a bit and it sounds like the rising sea and the fact that erosion and the boats are starting to sink the city

They want to build a seawall but then it would fuk up their sewer system since it depends on the tide

Its at the end of it

Yea time is the great equalizer. With how salty that water is it makes sense. I'm surprised even at how long it stood so well.

Not sure how they could save it either.

I have two more engineering anomalies to add. Everyone always talks about egypt, but I genuinely am in shock at the great wall of china.

The other one is more of a category. The cathedrals around the world. Sagrada Familia in Barcelone, Colgne Cathedral in Germany, etc. Centuries of building. The beauty...

m8, ive seen these florida tradies throw up 80 linear foot of vinyl seawall in a 4 hour span, running on nothing but loose cut, monsters, and menthols.

Call dem boys, theyll save yer city.

Edit:the fl engies are replacing entire barrier islands every other year due to hurricanes, and these euro cucks cant figure out their 1000 year plumbing. Just lol
