Bond set at $10 million for man charged with raping 9 day old girl.

PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A judge set bond for the Northeast Ohio man charged with allegedly raping a newborn at $10 million dollars, according to court records.

Portage County court records say 27-year-old Steven Ferguson is accused of having sexual contact with the 9-day-old girl on or about the date of Aug. 3.

Court records also say he is accused of either causing harm or attempting to cause harm to a 29-year-old woman, who may be a family or household member.

A Portage County grand jury on Aug. 8 voted to indict the man on charges of rape, gross sexual imposition, sexual battery and domestic violence.

Ferguson will be back in court for a status hearing on Sept. 10.
What's the point. The investigation should go like this, did he do it? If yes, two bullets to the back of the head today. If he survives he's free to go.
