Why are Republicans not as stressed out about polling/the election as democrats were?
When Biden was down in the polls, democrats were freaking the fuk out. They were talking about replacements and all that. Now Trump is in roughly the same position as Biden was even before the DNC in terms of polling. Also, Republicans should feel somewhat less optimistic due to the last few elections (2018,2020/2021 GA senate run off, 2022/2022 GA senate run off.) Plus, the media just bashes Trump/Republicans like 24/7 due to their hate of Trump.
Any political ppl know why the stress/fear factor is not there with them now?

Probably because everyone besides loyal democrats is well aware of how unlikable and weak Kamala Harris is as a presidential candidate.

Kamala is an absolutely horrible candidate. She's very Left Wing, and is a black women from Oakland California who is not very likable at all. She hasn't done any public interviews and hasn't published and policies whatsoever and we're only 2.5 months from election day.
At some point, she's going to have to speak in public, and it's likely going to be bad. They can't pull another, "Biden is trapped in the basement with Covid" type of scheme this time. There were a lot of people who came out for Biden who won't come out for Kamala.
With her abysmal record, I feel like the only way they could actually win would be with an Obama-type of candidate. And she is not even close to that.

I know many Americans don't find Trump that likable either tbh.

Its possible, but not that probable. Politics is more based on feelings now more than ever.

I live in a city that votes 90+% Dem in every election. Republicans don't even run in my city. I've now seen a total of 3 Kamala for President signs. There isn't any buzz for her whatsoever. By this point in the cycle, these people would typically be going nuts for whoever the Dem candidate is. But nobody seems to care at all this time around.

it's essentially a tied race according to polling. trump is facing his 3rd democrat challenger. last two had him down and it was about as close as it can get. i think by this point most people know if they're willing to vote R or D…will just depend on turnout most likely.
we are now seeing the media blitz i predicted a year when i said dems would be replacing biden once we got closer to the election
