I don't have any recipes. I just shape into a burger patty then cook it on a pan.

Do you eat it in a bun or too many carbs?

True

With rice. I just mash it up but cooking it as a burger patty makes it less disgustingly dry.

I'm sort of the same way, it doesn't feel right eating meat by itself, I need something on the side. I add eggs, egg white, or vegetables to go with the meat and then it's fine.

Do you eat them separate? Or mash it up like Stan efferding. I tried mixing ground beef with eggs once and it was kinda groce.

Good luck
I don't try to mix but I dump them on the same plate out of laziness and some mixing happens from that. Groce tasting could be a personal taste thing or it could be your beef/eggs don't taste good as is. When I've cooked burgers on the pan, they taste tough and boiled. I cook them on the grill and they taste great that way. I can also experiment with that rack I talked about for bacon for burgers, if the liquid drips down, maybe that prevents the bad boiled taste.

It wasn't so much that it tasted gross but it was difficult to finish eating.

Just google ground beef hash. There are lots of versions and they are all simple.

Another thing I've been doing is drinking the below diet sodas. I don't have a sweet tooth so I wasn't expecting it to do anything but drinking those reduces my appetite and makes eating less even easier. They're sweetened with stevia and not the bloat/cancer artificial sweeteners.

Speaking of taste, when I do start eating carbs again, I'm thinking about eating pasta instead of rice.

Rice is cleaner but pasta tastes better to me and more importantly, easy to cook a small easily measured portion in 10 minutes. With the rice, it's too much hassle to cook a small batch so I have to meal prep it which is more hassle.

Zevia is awesome. I like the vanilla cola ones the most.
