only if Trump is elected, of course

but seriously my employer is talkign about forecasts for next year are way down across the board. from what I gather there are similar talks pretty much everywhere. It might be people playing chicken little but I feel we have had too many recessions in the last couple decades to where we should be able to predict them with a modicum of accuracy

DCAing.

However, yes, I would kind of expect a significant correction to be in the future but…wtf do I know?

Biggest silent collapse happening out there is the loss associated with banks balance sheets holding dog**** treasuries from qe days.

The writedowns will continue until morale improves.

2008 was not fixed.

They just kicked the can down the road…

So the next actual recession will be even bigger than anything WE have seen before. Possibly be larger than anything the oldest people alive have seen before, too….

Hope you diversified out of the (soon to be worthless) US Dollar, and the Scam Stock Market….

This reminds me a lot of covid. People are scared when you tell them to be scared, they think everything is normal when you tell them it's normal. Tech, and white collar jobs in general (ie some of the best paying jobs), have been molly whopped over the last year. I don't think tech has ever been worse, but stocks and everything are at record highs. People are getting into more and more debt to circumvent the price of everything doubling, but it's great, everything is great.

Op these hedgies are trying to shill their fund to get more investors, not “warn” anyone for the sake of saving them. Funds make a lot of money even when they don’t hit their targets.

you did just see a pretty big drawback… i know it wasn't long

and we're ~ right back to where we were pre- that… and inflation is supposed to be cooling due to a fed rate cut in sep.

I feel like if Trump wins they'll finally let this thing collapse and blame it on him. If Kamala wins, who knows, maybe they'll just run the dollar completely into the ground and steal what they can before it does.

I just want for a massive societal fallout.

Why work for a house when you can go and take one whilst exterminating its current occupants?

Like I said in all these threads the markets SHOULD crash but they won’t.

Everything was artificially inflated by pandemic money and the everything bubble should pop. Stocks, crypto, housing, everything.

However it won’t pop because the fed will just prop everything up indefinitely.
