Going back to college at 31( GTFIH)

Still feel 20 in the head

Am balding tho

Starting to look old

Going back to college at 31

Read my latest post for more details

Basically wasted my 20s doing nothing
No friends no social life no nothing so I’m feeling regret and hate my current life

Just want to go back to party and have a social life, maybe Greek life if they allow it and make friends

Don’t think I’ll be a student but maybe just take 1 class and pay for it

Missed out all my 20s doing nothing

I’m just wondering if ppl will know or care that I’m older and if I should just lie

I did this exact thing last year and I went at 29 and was joining a frat until they kicked me out when they found out I wasn’t a student. But back then I didn’t go out to the undergrad bars at all since I thought I was too old and they had covers but I may try it this time around.

Am living in a big night city and going out in the weekends is just not good cuz feel like a random and no friends

I want to relive the life I never had cuz I’m literally bored with nothing to look forward to

Thinking of going to one of the bigger/biggest party schools in the country

May just go to the same school I was at least year since I have some friends there already from my frat and they may even take me back

I’m all down to do it, it’s just I’m worried about my age and if ppl find out what would happen or if I should just lie

I just lied last year and no one cared, was even getting asked if I needed a fake Id…

Asked specific school Reddit sections and they are saying to avoid the undergrad bars but idt my school even has grad bars so idk where I would go

Do older grad students just not go out if undergrad bars are the only bars there

Would anyone even care and shun u cuz ur older

Is it even creepy or weird cuz I’m just trying to have fun and a social life, I feel like I should be able to do that at least in my 30s still

I gotta decide soon as school starts in a few weeks

The only reason I would personally go back to college at 31, would be to kick some ass, academically speaking and take it wayyyyy more seriously and actually learn the advanced concepts properly.

To be fair, when I was 23 I thought I was old - now that I'm 30, 23 is a baby still and so is 30. I wouldn't consider someone an actual adult until they're 35/36.

OP let me help you out - the only way that you can pull off the 'not giving a f*ck what people think' is if you don't need other people for emotional support, in which case you wouldn't be planning on going to college at 30 just to f*ck around.

If you just 'dgaf' what people think and you try to form friendships, it won't end well, since you ALWAYS need to sacrifice aspects with yourself in an interpersonal relationship.

Zyzz didn't NOT care what people thought, he cared all too much, which is the only reason he juiced hard and done what he done, and didn't live life as a quite nerd who hits the gym natty, which would have resulted in him being alive to this day.

Cliffs: you can't NOT care what people think of you if you need people (i.e., friends) to feel good.

I'm 31 and will be doing a masters degree for a year at Uni. Kind of in the same boat as you - missed out a lot of fun during my 20's

Overall if you can pull off looking younger and you are a handsome dude, you will easily PASS. You said you are a baldcel, get some hairpiece or something srs

Your only target should be hitting sloots, putting time into getting friendships with 20-year-old dudes is a total waste.
