America has never been NOT lost... ever since industrialization

Before industrialization, we had medieval and feudal times... that's what this society will return to for awhile.

The US was conceptualized to stop that but the ideas the founders had were never really up into place.

The US got subverted by people who like royalty.

Thomas Jefferson was concerned that rich families would turn into de facto royalty and the rest of them wanted to suppress religion into nonexistence.

The plans to stop that weren't put into place and the religious suppression didn't entirely work.

Now, we have a society that's more like 1700s England while countries in Europe are more like the US planned to be.
