I was doing well in this category, then just like that I am showing my age. People used to say you look maybe 32, and now they are even guessing much older. Feel bad.

But I am still doing my best with anti aging and longevity regimen

Get good genes.

Work out, eat a good balanced diet, maintain grooming and good hygiene. It really amazes me how guys let themselves go with nasty looking facial hair and be grossly overweight in the trades.

Nothing really. But if you are overweight, definitely work on losing weight. And drink plenty of water. Wash your face at night and use a gentle moisturizer in the morning. I want to add, be happy. Happiness has tons of benefits to our looks and health. Also who doesn't want be around a happy person.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

don't get fat in the first place, use sun protection, challenge and stimulate yourself mentally everyday

i'm not mid 30s yet but i have some relatives/acquaintances that are, and they can still pass as mid 20s

depending on what that regimen is that might be a big part of the problem. Gen Z is big into beauty and anti-aging treatments at the ripe age of 22 and they end up looking 42

The only 3 things you really have to focus on to be better looking that 99% of guys in your age group is, to:

1. Drink more water. You know who you are. and no, diet sodas doesnt count. Even if you don't see it right away, drinking water does wonders for the body in the long run. Those random days you have a headache? You probably didn't drink enough water. If you're experiencing an ache or pain in a joint? Most likely a lack of water which transports nutrients to muscle to relieve pain. Water also clears up complexion, aids in the elasticity of the skin (prevents aging) and helps with the absorption of nutrients in the food that you are eating. Drink your phuckin water.

2. Don't get fat, and if you are fat lose the weight. You don't have to look athletic or like you lift, but it is the icing on the cake so you should always strive for that.

3. if your hair is thinning and you're finding yourself having to play around with comb-overs or cannot rock certain styles because it reveals bald patches, you need to rip the band-aid off now and just shave it bald. Its actually a lot less maintenance in the mornings, and you'll wonder why you didn't shave it off sooner. You're not fooling anyone, and everyone can see what you're trying to hide.

Youโ€™re going to get old, nothing you can do about that.

But you can control how you age.

1. Exercise- be fit. Most men after 35 look like dog chit. Just by being fit, you dominate most men around you.

2. Limit you drinking

3. Sleep. I didnโ€™t sleep in my younger days much, still only get 5-6 hours of sleep most nights but sleep becomes really important as you age.

4. Diet. Regardless of how much you exercise, youโ€™ll look like dog chit if you canโ€™t diet. And itโ€™s not dieting, itโ€™s a lifestyle. If you eat like chit, youโ€™ll look like chit.

All in all, aging is brutal, but if youโ€™re fit, take care of yourself, dress well, and are pleasure to be around with good career, you become somewhat of a role model type of figure. Most men want to be you and younger men aspire to be you. Women become a lot easier, especially women your age, theyโ€™re like fishing with dynamite.

yes carrying a lot of excess weight is stress on the body, plus it does mess with hormones a lot. Obesity is linked to a litany of health complications

I've been trying and have not solved this riddle yet. Seems like I was good looking mid 20s up until around 33 years old then somewhere at 34 or 35 it was like I fell off a cliff and now look old as sh*t.

I've spent the last 3 years trying to solve this and have come up with nothing. Feeling hopeless.

I also learned how to do a memory palace

Nootropis: Piracetam. Alpha gpc, Lion mane. Lion Mane works really well, but it kills my libido. So I stopped using it.

What exactly are you doing? List out your skincare routine.

Lots of pre teens and teens are using anti wrinkle skincare and it's messing up their skin. Not to mention all the surgeries and injections that girls are getting as very young adults.

Also stay away from drugs and excessive alcohol. Even if you use sunscreen you should still limit sun exposure. Hats, UPF clothing, etc.

Sleep. And when matters. Has to be at night.
Diet. Not just processed, but also not excessive in calories. Eating too much will kill you
Stay active. Moderate cardio and lifting
Avoid porn, smoking, drugs, alcohol

That's it

Yeah a lot of that crap makes young women look old, and makes older women look like they are trying to look younger... with questionable results. I saw this video too, awhile back..

The older women look.... nice..(?) in that they don't have wrinkles or sagging skin but they still look older.

Don't put a million different chemicals on your face. Wash your face at least daily, and put on sunscreen whenever you're gonna be out in the sun for more than a few minutes. That's all you need. Moisturizers, exfoliators, night creams, day creams, eye creams, retinol, etc isn't gonna make you look any better. Influencers hock that stuff to make money off suckers.

Yeah someone posted that vid before. Women are going ham with the botox. They're not just doing it in forehead and crows feet anymore. They're getting it in every area of their face. Some people are even using botox in their calves to make them smaller and their noses.

when i was in trade school a few years ago people thought i was 23,24 then when i turned 33 and people asked they thought i was 23, 24

genuinely could not fuken tell you other than i eat clean like 85% of the time and workout and have an active job

if most people sit around the comp all day then i am wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more active than them
