Where will you guys watch World War III from? Getting any good snacks?
I'll just be sheltering at home. Have some good food and snacks and clean water stock piled. Weapons too. Gonna watch it on TV probably.
As of August 2024, some experts are concerned about the possibility of World War III due to geopolitical tensions, including conflicts in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. In November 2022, a missile strike occurred in a Polish village near the Ukrainian border, which some say was a close call to open conflict with Russia. In early 2023, Putin suspended Russia's participation in the New START nuclear treaty with the US and announced plans to install tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. NATO is now openly operating in Russia.
China has long claimed Taiwan as its territory, and some say that a Chinese invasion of Taiwan could draw the US and its allies into direct conflict with China.
Iran is reportedly close to a nuclear breakout if not already. Iran and Israel are possibly hours away from war. US will back Israel obviously. Russia has already stated they will back Iran.
North Korea has been increasing its posturing against South Korea. US and South Korea begin intense training together to combat NK aggression. Russia has already formed an allience with NK and is even planning on deploying NK troops in Ukraine.

Some say that the growing division between the democratic West and authoritarian states across Eurasia could tip over into World War III.
