For now, focus on getting a bachelor's degree. Why are you even worried about the Masters at such an early stage?

The obvious answer is, of course, to get an MBA from a reputable school and only from a reputable school. MBA > Pretty much everything,

If you can get someone else to pay for the masters degree that is the best way to go about it. I had a professor friend that used to tell me that. And I have a friend that the company he worked at would pay employees to obtain masters degrees online.

Spoken like someone who neither setup a business before or got a Masters degree.

Starting a business is VERY difficult. I have personally set up more than one company before and suffered a lot of losses and gone through the depressing phase of liquidation.

That being said, things worked OK in the end. Although probably nothing can make up for the pain I have endured.

OP get an MBA from a nice school and land a good consultancy job and fuk starting businesses unless you have something you are genuinely passionate about.

I don't know enough about the business side of things. That said, for Comp Sci getting a bachelor's was enough. I already gross $180k/yr 7 years after graduating, why would I pay (or subscribe to debt) for a Master's lol? I considered it before when I was sub $100k/yr gross income, but now it just seems nonsensical.

Spoken like that huh? Because I started my own business and live a comfortable life from it. And its growing every month.

If you tried to start multiple businesses and failed, that is more a reflection on you as a poor business person, don't you think?

Maybe going to college, living in debt forever, and slaving for someone elses success is the best you could do. No shame in that if its all you can handle.

I was trying to give OP solid advice.

I went to college and got a degree. I wish I hadnt. It was a waste of time and money for me since now I run a successful business.

So you made two assumptions and were wrong on both. Started two businesses and failed at both. You're wrong a lot and fail a lot.

This. youre just going to go into debt.

Really no employer gives a fuk about your masters outside of 3-4 masters degrees. Which the ones you are considering are not.

It's refreshing to see that at least 1 miscer understands that starting a business isn't for everyone. Most just don't have business acumen.

For most plebs, the easiest path to wealth is just to be a wagecuck that leeches off their employer.

Here's the easiest path to wealth:

1) Get married to a good woman that won't backstab you in divorce court. Now you have access to 2 incomes and favorable tax rates.

2) Get a wagecuck job and do ZERO work. Company hop every 2 years gaining more money and building more connections. Remember to continue leeching off your employer while doing ZERO work.

3) Max out your 401K and get as much employer match as possible…. remember to continue leeching off your employer while doing ZERO work.

That's it, boyos, that's all you have to do.

I've been WFH since 2020 when the scamdemic hit… I spend my days miscing and jerking off to pr0n… Haven't been canned yet while getting a handsome salary, handsome bonuses, handsome 401K employer match, benefits…. and I contribute f/ck all to the company.

The higher up you go on the ladder, the less you have to work.

Sounds like a dream, and generally your advice is solid, but for most people I'd recommend "do the bare minimum", instead of "ZERO work".

Not everyone is as fortunate as your situation lol

Okay, well, realistically, I actually do some work at month end when I review our financials and prepare flash files with performance metrics for the execs. But generally the execs are so out-of-touch with the day-to-day operations that I can pull numbers out of my ass and they'd still be completely clueless as to how bs these numbers are.

I'm a finance bro, and one of the most important skills in finance is salesmanship, because you're essentially selling fake numbers and fake financials to the execs and the auditors, and if you've managed to coerce them into buying these fake financials, then you're a WINNER!

As I've always said: if you're earning your paycheck, then you're failing miserably at the game of life.
