The Japanese used to love going to Paris, have been for hundreds of years, srs. Now travel to Paris is way down from Japan as they all say it's a complete **** hole now. Apparently some of them need therapy or something after going, lol

It’s a great place to visit. I like staying at the Intercontinental in the opera district. Or the Westin Vendome. When I stayed there, we walked to the Eiffel Tower just about every night. It’s a 45 minute walk over the bridge and it is so nice and peaceful. You’ll find some homeless people here and there, but nothing like New York City or Chicago. There’s a ton to do just make sure you plan early and book museums and things like that early. You don’t want them selling out, especially if you want the skip the line tickets.

Try to book your tickets direct on the websites. It’s a lot cheaper.

I'll be there in a couple weeks. Staying in an AirBnb in the 6th Arrondissement. Going to keep an eye out for scammers/pickpockets in the touristy spots, but I think most of the migrant violence is occurring in the outer areas of the city from what I've read. Planning on mostly walking so don't plan to need to worry much about sketchy subway stations.

Yes, went once in 2007 and it was already turning into a chit-hole.

Cant even imagine how bad it is now. Over-rated, so many better places to go if youre going to burn thousands on a trip.

There are spots of immigrant sh&t

There are spits of pure French authenticity.

Love my French girls. F*ckinnnn……saw a French girl roller skating as her mode of transportation and had a baguette. F*cking hot as f*ck

Two places I'll never go to - Paris or London.

Both for similar reasons.
Into- Mountaineering, running & Djent/Progressive music.
Anti- Lack of accountability. Censorship, fat acceptance, & current wave feminism. That's why I left the UK.

We were there in May and stayed a couple blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. It seemed like a nice area. Get your tickets in advance. We toured the Arc, the Louve, Pantheon, Eiffel Tower, and the catacombs. We took a train to Versaille one day and toured that. We walked over 16 miles that day. My kids were pissed but oh well. The best tour we did was through a group called City Wonders. They picked us up in Paris and took us up to Normandy. We visited a museum, Omaha and Utah beaches and Pointe du Hoc. It included lunch and also a stoop at a local cidery and a tasting.

Basically, Japnese people think Paris is some kind of heaven on earth. When they go there and find out it is no better than any other capital in the world, they get mentally sick.

Just type in Paris scams into YT and you'll be ahead of the game. We did that on our last trip, you'd be amazed at these clever scams.

A cousin and her family returned from Paris recently after going to watch the Olympics. Sounded like they had a great time.

Paris does sound like a run down place though from what i've been reading recently. Not sure if I'd want to go there.

We were just there in July about 2 weeks before the Olympics. We went to Versailles, Giverney, did some cooking classes, private tour of the Lourve, ate at Giraffe, etc.

The most fun was a a guided tour in a motorcycle side car, we were able to go see a lot of things that would have taken way more time if we had walked.

We basically walked and took car service to places we weren't familiar with.

Amazing city. As a tourist you will have a great time. There is a reason it is the most visited country in the world.

LOL at the incels calling it a chithole when they haven't seen the sun in months.

That's nice. I stayed there for a month. Been to Versailles, Le Louvre twice, Musee D'Orsay, and bunch of other museums. It's a ****hole

You took guided tours like a cuck. I walked around the city, took the metro almost every day.

Vienna was actually beautiful and clean.

Been to London, Paris, Prague, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Vevey, Salzburg in the past 10 years.

Paris was a dump. You know they cleaned it up to look like less of a dump for the Olympics right?
